Per 5 mL Triprolidine HCl 1.25 mg, pseudoephedrine HCl 30 mg, dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg
Indications/Uses
Relief of dry cough & nasal congestion.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & childn >12 yr 10 mL tds. Childn 6-12 yr 5 mL tds, 2-6 yr 2.5 mL tds.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
MAOIs, severe HTN or CAD. Not for use in asthma-related cough or cough accompanied by excessive secretions. Patients at risk of developing resp failure.
Special Precautions
HTN, heart disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, elevated IOP, prostatic enlargement. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Renal & hepatic impairment.
Adverse Reactions
Drowsiness, sleep disturbances; skin rash, tachycardia, dry mouth, nose & throat. GI disturbances.
